End product is an installation about products that are not considered as a product. 
What is the designation of cut and transformed wood pieces inside a capitalism factory?
The autopsy of a box of good freshly delivered is quite telling. Our footprint, brand loyalty and urge to obtain as quickly and as cheaply as possible change our relationship to objects and utilitarian possessions. But when the desire, usefulness of a purchase is gone, we are in front of unwanted and dead elements. And their immediate future is oblivion inside a trash.
These four wood pieces protected parts of a crib I purchased, preventing it from being damaged during its transport from São Paulo to Brooklyn. They were instrumental and crucial to the stability of the purchased product, but still, they are not dignified enough to be a part of the product.

With End product I questioned our nature as consumers, but above all our relationship to programmed obsolescence and expendable products as subject and object.
The meta and the utilitarian paradox of the installation opens a dialogue about what we can’t or/and don’t want to see. Our endless and seamless transactional behaviour transforms us into breathing and living capitalistic assets confusing What and Why?  
What is design? Why is it design? What is trash? Why is it trash? 
The answers should be up to the Frankensteiners, not the consumers.
To decide what item is a product or not is contingent upon your economical value as an individual.
End product is allegedly made of nothing, for some, but it is still something, to me.

This item is not a part of the product.
We don’t produce; we consume.
We are the product.
